About the Owner
James Goodman
With more than 30 years of technical and project management experience in the Instrumentation, Electrical and Controls fields for a variety of industries, James has a proven track record of being able to get the job done and done right the first time. His expertise is in control system design, programming (both DCS and PLC), instrument specification, panel design, QA/QC, relay logic, BMS design, and system checkouts.
As the founder of Goodman Automation & Maintenance, James built a business based upon offering high quality industrial services provided by trained professionals committed to excellence, safety and customer satisfaction. GAM had the ability to carry out projects from inception to completion with unmatched attention to detail and outstanding customer service.
James’ thorough understanding of how a project has to come together enables him to manage a mix of both employees and third-party contractors including technicians, electricians and junior engineers throughout a project. His years of real-world experience enables him to work with process engineers to determine scope of work and scheduling for new projects as well as with operations personnel to streamline controls for their ease of use from a day-to-day operational perspective.
